ABOUT ABOUT

Book by Greg Kotis

In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

On a serious note...

We recognize how precious the water we use here in California is and are fortunate to have the quality of water we do. Some are not as fortunate.
Flint, Michigan has been through a lot.
Residents have faced a crisis.
They’ve been ignored.
They’ve watched their children suffer.
But that’s not the end of the story.
Flint may have been through more than most communities could withstand, but the people of Flint are resilient. And although the Flint water crisis is out of the headlines, the lead crisis will continue for generations.
Over 13,000 children under the age of 8 were exposed to lead tainted water for over two years.
We invite you to support the Flint Kids Fund of the Foundation for Flint. We know the needs of Flint children exposed to lead, particularly those most vulnerable – children ages 0-6 – are ongoing and long-term. Dr. Mona Hanna Attisha of Hurley Medical Center and Michigan State University is the founding donor. She says, “If there was ever a time to invest in our children, it is now.”

Give now to support Flint kids exposed to lead: www.flintkids.org.
